Phil and his wife Jill live in High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire in the UK, and they have three children, Tim, Ben and Katie. Phil is an elder at his local church, where he preaches and leads a housegroup. In his spare time he likes to play the keyboard.





Kenn Bruner

Kenn is 51, and has 2 grown up children, Breana and Brant. He has 2 grandchildren. He became a Christian in January 1992 and is a member of Broadway Baptist Church in St James, Missouri. He is co-founder of Brother’s In Christ Men’s Fellowship

Diana Buxton

Diana lives in East Hull in the U.K. with her husband Mark and their two [almost] grown-up children and often preaches at the local United Reformed Church of which she is a member. The title of the series of monologues Diana has contributed to FortyThirtyOne is ‘On The Way’.


David Clark

David lives in Burstwick near Hull in the U.K. He is a Reader at All Saints anglican church, also in Burstwick, and his interests include walking in the country, golf, visits to the theatre, and listening to music.


Amy Gledhill

Amy is a medical student at Edinburgh University. When back in her native county of  Yorkshire in the UK, she attends Christchurch, Cottingham. Her interests include literature, music, travelling and socialising.


Martin Houghton-Brown

Martin lives with his family on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. He is a minister with eight years in pastoral ministry. Latterly he has been working for a regional charity and with wife Joy is beginning to pioneer a new church in Leeds in the UK. He is a keen fencer (the sword kind that is!) and admits to playing 'Age Of Mythology' online.

Ron Leonard

Ron is 47 years old and is married to Marilyn. They have no children but do have a dog named Gabby. They live in Nashville, Tennessee in the USA. Ron became a Christian at the age of 10. He and Marilyn are actively involved in ministry at their local church.

Robin Maunoury

Robin became a Christian in 1994 following the death of his father. He worships at the Linnaeus Street Evangelical Church
in Hull, in the U.K.

Alan T R Miller

Alan is an English teacher/Missionary in China, where he has lived for four years. He plays the flute, cello and piano as well as writing poetry.

Olivia Murray

Olivia is the Operations Manager for Christchurch, Bristol, after many successful years in the Christian booktrade. She is very creative and always has a positive outlook.

Liz lives in Hull in the UK and lists among her interests: writing, knitting, reading, listening to music, writing to pen pals and walking the dog.

Norman lives in Hull in the UK with his wife, Liz, and their dog, Tipsy. He enjoys computing, photography, writing, reading, gardening and spending time in the country.


Paul Reet

Paul has recently moved from his native Lincolnshire in the UK, to Dunedin in New Zealand with his wife Mary. Paul is a mental health Nurse and currently works as a Nurse/Educator for an organisation which provides care and support for people with mental health and learning disabilities. He has written poetry since he was a child and enjoys cycling, walking, cinema, reading and involving people in deep theological debate and then leaving the room!!

Randy Rivera

Randy Lives in Canton,Ohio USA. He goes to Emmanuel Christian Church and lives with Wife, Patty, a Pomeranian called Pookie Poo and a cat called Sable-Antonette.  In his free time he enjoys working with children.

Andrew Swinscoe

Andrew has been writing poetry for over twenty years, having the occasional piece of work published in anthologies. He was  raised in a Christian family, and attends East Hull Presbyterian Church. His hobbies include snooker and pool, and he is semi-retired from Ju-jitsu due to illness, and an injury from a motorcycle accident 22 years ago.
